(no subject)
OotP ... is mine. I wasn't going to get it until tomorrow (because I had a copy reserved at Waldenbooks, but they don't open until 8 am-ish) but then I thought "Wait, Wal-Mart is open 24/7 ... and I know they *have* to be selling it!" So mother was kind enough to take me there and get it. So yeah ... yay.
I realize I should be happier about that ... but my mom was told today that my Aunt Em isn't doing too well (she's been in the hospital for the past week) and they're giving her a blood transfusion ...
But anyway, back to the book (tying my hardest not to think about Aunt Em ...)
Wow. The first chapter was ... odd. Odd because ... I've never seen Harry like that before. Like ... so angry at everything. Angry to the point where he considers picking a fight with his cousins gang. And I *knew* Mrs. Figg had *something* to do with the magic world (because I believe Dumbledore mentioned her ... somewhere), but I had no idea she was a Squib. And what is up with Petunia?!! Must. Read. More.
