Homecoming 2005
I am updating my journal because Amanda said that she needs something to read...hehe!
Anyway, I am so pumped up for Homecoming weekend! I have been pumped all week, dressing up supporting my class of 2007! Tomorrow,I have to wear the most uncomfortable shirt in the world, our band logo shirt! I will be arriving at school, at 7:30Am to get ready to play the fight song before school starts. Then, when it is time for the pep assembly, we (the marching band) are gonna play the fight song over and over. Then, at 4:30pm I have to report to Ehman Center to get ready for the homecoming parade, which I hope we can march in straight lines since no one can do it(or it seems like it!)!! After the parade, the band boosters are gonna provide us lunch, thank goodness! Later on, when the pre-game starts, we will be doing our show instead of our cool, amazing LO figure for pre-game show. We only get to perform the opener and the closer though... I wish we could do our whole show! Anyway, when half-time comes around, the 9th graders are gonna be playing "Twist and Shout" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" with us. I am so sick of "Can YOu Feel the Love Tonight", we play it every year! Please pick another song STEELE! Please! Then after the game, I hope, I will be able to go to Becky's house for the band party. I might not be able to go because I have grandparents coming over, but first of all, they just read their books when they are here and second, they come over way to many times (so it's not like I will never see them again!). Then, on Saturday, Christine, Amanda, and i are going to Alexander's car-wash to get donations for our DC trip for marching band! After that, we are going to Amanda's to crash the place down! hehe...we are going over for a sleepover and gonna party all night... so let's see how much sleep that we actually get!! Well, I need to go now and get some sleep for tomorrow!
