It's actually really nice to be home. My room smells good. The whole house does. I can't believe this is my last summer vacation here, and that I'm really moving out soon.
My mom and I bought this awesome home letterpress thing today! We're going to use it for my invitations. It actually presses the image into the paper and creates an impression along with inking the paper. Pretty sweet. I'm going to design a custom letterpress plate to use for the invitations :)
Still trying to finish applying for the summer school job at Flint. I have to get two more letters of recommendation. Ah! I'm afraid I won't get them soon enough and the position will already be taken. OHNOZ!
I'm still reading Sense and Sensibility, which I am enjoying immensely. It's funny to read Jane Austen books because they make me think of Janna; and Jane's main characters, her favorite ones, always seem to be more similar to Janna, and I seem to be more like the minor characters or the silly ones. Austen seems to like sensible, prudent, self-controlled main characters.
Speaking of Jane Austen, I think I'll get back to reading....
