Places to go
Well, I feel like shit today, and have nothing to do. So I'm posting a list of places I want to go, things I want to see. I should be writing my thesis but my brain is WAY dead. Stupid sickness.
I've been to Paris once (the first of many trips, I can tell I won't get sick of the city and stop going), but I didn't get to Sacre Coeur. Also on the list: Musee d'Orsay, Versailles, Monmartre.
Cathedrale Notre Dame de Chartres - yes, I have a love affair with France. I didn't think I would ever be one of those girls that's obsessive, but I am. I can't wait to learn French and be able to travel a little easier through France.
Burgundy. Seriously, how adorable is this??
The leaning tower of Pisa. I'm all for going back to Italy for a LONG time.
Ravenna. How gorgeous is this?
Lake Como
Cinque Terre
Santorini. How freaking beautiful can you get??
The Parthenon, and basically all of Athens.
Istanbul (this is the Grand Bazaar)
Petra. SO FREAKING COOL. Plus there's the Indiana Jones connection.
The Pyramids at Giza
Cairo
Tunis (this is the Grand Mosque, which I wouldn't be able to see, but I want to just hang out around the city)
While I do want to see the Sahara, I actually want to fly over it at night more. It's probably the closest I'll ever get to going into space.
I really want to see Mt. Kilimanjaro, and go on a safari in Kenya...
Though I could be convinced to go to Botswana instead
Kruger National Park (since I was forced to give it up senior year, I'm going to get there some day!) I have wanted to go on a safari since I was in 2nd grade. I'm getting impatient.
Victoria Falls
Macchu Picchu. I really want to see a lot of Peru, since it's got a bit of everything, but this is the main thing I want to see.
Chichen Itza. SAM! Let's do Mexico when I'm not poor and your Spanish is better. We'll have a blast!
Cancun. Because, well....why not?
Costa Rica. It's gorgeous, and has everything you could imagine you'd want to do in a tropical climate. Plus....SURFING!
Jamaica! I know it's cheesy, but I kind of want to go to Sandals and just relax, lol. I <3 all-inclusive resorts without kids!
St. Thomas. Yeah, I can't stop thinking about beaches.
Hawaii, so I could go see where they shoot Lost!
I've got to kiss the Blarney stone at some point.
I've got to see the Northern Lights. I just really really have to see them.
Vegas. But mostly because they have FOUR Cirque du Soleil shows!
Bora Bora. I really really want to stay in one of these villa things on top of the water. AMAZING
New Zealand.
Senegal, especially if I can get there when Suze is there.
I want to scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef, for real this time. Stupid panic attacks.
Bali. I never managed to get there in almost 10 years in Asia.
Munich. I'm not sure why, but I really want to go.
Zurich. It's supposed to be a beautiful city, plus I'd love to learn to ski in the Alps.
While not as happy as everything else, I really feel like I need to see Auschwitz.
Prague
