So Car Troubles... AGAIN.
Yesterday I was driving, BIG THUD and than really hard time driving. Luckily I was on lunch RIGHT outside the daycare. So I turned around, all the while making noise like I was driving with my e-brake on. I get out, (in the rain and look under the car) Nothing dragging, no visible drooping of parts etc. So I call Phil. My Step dad.
Car stays overnight at work. I leave work today to find him taking off my driver's rear tire (where I had been saying the drag AND noise had come from).
He takes off the cover to look at the break and a piece of metal falls out. I said, "So I guess that's the problem then?" He says, "Ya but it's not supposed to do that."
Problem. My break shoe became unlaminated from the well so it was just sitting there. Break shoes aren't supposed to do that.
Needless to say, free labour rocks because this cost me 50 bucks instead of 400.
