The Phantom of the Opera is heeeereeeeeeee.... inside my mind!!!!!

Well... Marty and I had our greatest, most wonderful night for Valentine's day last night.

The day finally came... We got to see Phantom.
Let me tell you ladies and gentlemen.. it was AWESOME!!!!! All the effects, all the lights, the sounds, the stage, everything.

When we walked into the concert hall, it was GORGEOUS.. keep in mind we were 15 rows from the stage... the best way to see phantom... up close... for the first time.
There were sheets up around the top border of the stage, then came time for the show to start.

Picture, an old time Auction... it's rather bleek, and dark seeming.

Then comes a music box (appropriately playing "Masquerade"). Kind of familiar to one of the auction goers in a wheelchair. He shows some interest, and bids on this item, and the item is then taken away to the back.

Finally, the main auction item, the broken chandelier from the Opera house.... which unravels the story of the Opera Ghost... as it slowly unfolds itself and lights up, and the main theme starts playing by way of the orchestra! =) I take a deep breath, and stare in awe.

Rewind to quite a few years back, and call in the stage hands to remove the sheets from above the stage, revealing BEAUTIFUL golden statuettes of angels. ALL OVER the the border of the top of the stage.

This scene is where we meet Contessa, Meg, and Christine...
"wow.. the scenery is GORGEOUS..." i think to myself "when... WHEN do we get to meet the Phantom?!?" Shortly there after... the monent came... there he was (in voice of course)... the Phantom.
With this happening, it was all I envisioned, and MORE....

WOW.... it is then, that I realize I have goosebumps all up and down my body...

I look at marty, and just think to myself, over and over, and over... "thank you, thank you, thank you!" How did I get to be here... 15 rows away from the stage of Phantom of the Opera??!!

I'll tell you how... I got there because of the love of a man who is so good to me... he thought ehough to get me tickets to my favorite musical.... yes... he got them without me asking him to. He got them on his own, as a gift to me for Valentines day, to show me that he infact does pay attention to what I say, and like.

Needless to say... through out the WHOLE production, I had goosebumps, and I felt like a Princess, with her Prince Charming at her side.

I would HIGHLY recommend Phantom to ANYONE who is even SLIGHTLY interested in musicals, or just old fashioned love stories anyway... lol

It was the most beautiful, amazing, breathtaking thing I have ever seen from the stage sets to the actors, even right down to every last inch of the gold angelic trim on the upper part of the stage.

Another plus was that we got the Phantom's, Christine's, and Contessa's autographs, not once, but TWICE.. and Marty bought me the book of Sheet music to the Phantom of the opera. OMG... IT WAS GREAT!!!!!!!

I can honestly say, that it was the best, most romantic night I've been on EVER, close to the engagement night!!!!! So it's a CLOSE second! =)

I LOVE YOU HONEY... THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU, and Thank you Kate and Lea for helping me get ready, and look pretty for my future- husband for the first time of him EVER seeing me in a dress... =)

YOU MEAN THE WORLD TO ME BABY.. and I LOVE YOU
