Good God almighty, I don't remember the last time I updated this thing.

Well, let's start with the obvious - I'm alive! I've kept pretty busy the last few months. I was working on an independent film, "Tenure", in their production office, and from there went right to the office of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" while they were in town. Sunny in Philly was my first gig after I left the restaurant. It's kinda hard to believe sometimes that I've been doing this for a year. I mean, really doing this. I can make a living in this industry. That's cool and kinda scary at the same time. Sometimes I feel like I've been doing this forever, and sometimes I feel like I just started yesterday.

I'm moving back into Philadelphia next week, and leaving the suburbs behind. When I moved back out here almost four years ago, it was always my plan to move back into Philly, and I just kinda ended up in the suburbs and didn't leave. So, while it's taken me nearly four years, I am very excited to be moving back in the city. I'll be in South Philly, not too far from the stadiums actually (which would have been nice last year when I was working on "American Hell" err, "American Idol"). My friend Brooke owns the house and it just worked out that she had a room open when I was looking to move, and I am very excited to live with roommate[s] I might actually SEE once in awhile! Parking and the city wage tax will of course be the least favorite things to deal with, but overall I think this is a really good move and I am excited.

I am planning a trip back to MI to see the fam and friends later this summer. My original plan was to actually be there now, but with moving and all it just had to be postponed. Right now the plan is end of July/beginning of August. There's a Rogers family reunion at the end of July, and of course Community Days in Pickford in August - can't miss that :) The only family member I've seen since Christmas was Megan in New York in February, and I am so excited to get home and see everyone. And it's nice to hear that my family is excited to see me too!!

I met someone at work on a job awhile back, and we've been dating for a little while now. He's a really nice guy, and has these amazing big brown eyes... anyway :) I like him a lot, but I'm not sure how serious it is... so we'll see how things go. In the meantime, I have a blast with him, and he makes me feel like a million bucks. Which is a nice feeling, something I haven't had in quite awhile.

Oooh, went to Florida for the first time last week. A little birthday present to myself :) Gen and I found ridiculously cheap tickets, so we went down for a couple days and stayed with some friends about an hour outside of Orlando. Didn't get to do any of the good touristy things, but we did get a little sun and have some fun. It was nice to just get away for a couple days. And it came right at the end of a long stretch of work for me (2 1/2 months, and the first 8 weeks of that without a day off) so it was good timing.

And now, I can't avoid packing any longer. I have two days to finish everything and too much left to do of course. I hate packing...
