Yay for INCUBUS!
Okay so it's not all going to be about the Incubus concert but yeah about 90% of it is lol. Just as a warning cause I have to get everything down. So yeah I skipped school cause there was no way we could have gotten out of Bio lab at 7 and made it to the show at 7:30. It's an hour drive cause they never come to the stadium here, they always go to the one far away. Why Incubus why? Sooo the beginning of my day:
I woke up early cause Michael Phelps (there he is again lol) was going to be on Regis & Kelly and sure enough he was. I left my VCR playing cause I had a morning class. I came home and was happy to see that it recorded. He looked so cute and his ears didn't look that big lol. It was all cold and raining in NY and he was wearing sandals lol. That was funny. Kelly annoyed him with asking him all these questions about shaving. He's so cute. So yeah after that I went and got something to eat. Sonic was the choice and mmm how good that Coney and chilli cheese tots tasted mmm...
I picked up the girls at around 3 and it took longer because my friend Christina took her friend instead of her brother. That was a good 30 minutes out of my way. Ugh! Never again. Then she was being annoying at the beginning as was Christina. I hate backseat drivers. I know what I'm doing leave me the f**k alone. So I got there in a bad mood. We were early though and guranteed to get a good spot on floor. We did and it was all great. There was some pushing and shoving, but it was fine. Then Incubus finally got their asses on stage and thats when the horror began. Some idiots thought it would be funny to make us all sway like dominos and me and the girls were all scared. We wouldn't let go of each other or we would have gotten lost.
All that kept going through my head was "please don't let one of us slip" cause I've seen it on tv if you go down then you're not coming back up. We couldn't handle it and I wanted to leave w/my life so we went a little further to the back. After that it was nothing but smooth sailing. It was beautiful. The band was great and Brandon looked better than he did 2 years ago, if thats possible. Incubus is one of the few bands that sounds great live, I love that about them. Silly Brandon was speaking spanish lol. OMG they played "Southern Girl" thats like my song lol. I don't know what was my favorite part of their show. It was all great and when they played "Pantomime" I was like freaking out, it was so beautiful. All I can say is, in the end it was worth those first few minutes of horror. I love them and as long as they keep coming back, for sure I'll keep going. Next time I'm going sans other people's friends and just my own friends. Other people's friends cause too much trouble and they get annoying.
Sadly however my attempts to get backstage and meet the band didn't happen. I did what one of my friends said which was to wait by the buses, but geez the security here was pretty bad. They had it all taped off with that yellow murder tape lol. So they were being asses and wouldn't let us go. I'll just wait until my friend makes it here next concert and I'll tag along w/her to meet them lol.
But yeah I had fun. And surprise, at the end of the show Gaston and Kevin found us. You guys remember Kevin right from like an entry further back. They were there and all sweaty, but it's okay we know them lol. Eww all the other sweaty people were gross, except Kevie and Gaston. We were talking about the other concert compared to this one and how they didn't play some important songs like "I Miss You", "Pardon Me", and "Warning." How could they not play those songs? Oh well at least they played a mix of really good old and new songs. The guys invited us to go eat and we would have, but no Christina and her annoying friend wanted to go home. I was so close to telling Selene to drive my car home and leave me there with them. Gaston lives close to me and he could have taken me home. But then again I am the driver I'm responsible for them so I passed. Damn it. I keep running into Kevin, I think we should just go out. Ah but then theres Victor. Okay I won't get into it and I'll leave it at that.
