3 Good Movies, awards, and some other stuff.
Wow, it seems like forever since I updated. It's been since like Thursday I think. Anyway so I've been busy with stuff. I went to my brother's house today to see the babies. I haven't seen them in like a week. Baby Ray is finally better and he was back to his little self, but I think Areli is getting sick. Ay these babies. We left after they took baby Ray a bath. They're so cute. I can't wait until they get older so they can sleep over here and be all adorable.
I entered another blend at blend_it to add effects to a blend and I got two awards yay! I won 2nd place and most eye catching color or something like that. I'm glad my blends are getting better. Woo hoo! It wasn't a waste of time to learn Photoshop. If I can get a copy of Paintshop that would be awesome.
Okay well anyway I've seen 3 really kick ass movies in the past couple of days. First I saw Iron Jawed Angels, it's about how women got the right to vote. It's a made for tv movie on HBO I think and it is so great. Hilary Swank is in it and wow I'm going to go vote now. I can't believe I've been taking the right to vote for granted after all they went through. I must go sign up now and excercise my privilege.
Yesterday I saw Whale Rider and oh my god. I like cried throughout the whole thing. It's a really awesome and very emotional movie. I'm thinking now that maybe Keisha Castle-Hughes should have won the Oscar. I haven't seen Monster, but this was a great movie with a good sort of lesson to learn. I recommend it.
Then today I saw Life As A House with Kevin Kline and Hayden Christensen. That movie made me cry too. thought it was going to be a stupid movie when I first started watching it, but then it got better and a little more serious. Why do people make sad movies, they just make us all cry and be all sad. Oh well I recommend this one too.
That's me being a critic lol. I guess that's all I got. I just thought I should update. Ahhhhhh Spring Break is in one more week. I'm so excited. We might go to Phoenix to visit my cousin at her new place. She invited us to her house warming party so that's definatley cool. I'm glad she moved out of that place cause she was living with the fungus amongus.I wish I could have gone to college in Phoenix so we could be roomies, I'm sure that would have been cool.*Inside Joke* Talk to ya'll later and I'll go look through my list and see what you're all up to.
