A Great Birthday (Week)

Jul 30, 2006 22:31

So my birthday week is drawing to a close, and it was loads of fun.  I just got back from Dallas today because I spent the last three days there with Phillip.  We woke up early in the mornings and went to bed late everyday to make the most of our time together.  If I couldn't sleep in the morning, he would let me wake him up and I would crawl into the bed with him and we would talk until it was time to get up and get ready for the day's activities.  We visited a lot with his family and I met some of his high school friends that I had never met before.  We ate Mexican food and enjoyed the sites and the area.

I might have said this before about him or other people, but I was wrong all of those times.  Something changed on this trip, and I can really see myself ending up with him.  He's right for me.  I loved his friends, I love his family--everyone makes me feel right at home.  With the exception of the people that I am related to and have known all of my life, I feel like no one loves or cares for me more than his family.

I was really sad to leave his house today, but I am going to see him in DC in just 17 days.  It should be a lot of fun.  A miny vacation.  In any case, I could not have asked for a better way to spend the majority of my birthday week.
