An interesting week...
So we got a free trial of Blockbuster online. Basically they send us 3 movies that we picked, we watch them, send them back, and then they send us three more. It would be really cool if there weren't any delays, but I guess there has to be delays or they wouldn't make any money. So anyway, we've had it for 2 weeks now. Out of the four movies I watched this week (one we actually own, I just never saw before), three of them made me cry. Hotel Rowanda, Cinderella Man, and Pride and Prejudice all made me shed tears. Collateral did not. Actually, Brokeback Mountain, which I finally saw last Friday, made me lose a tear or two as well. What is wrong with me? Sure, all of them are moving movies, but still. Also, I know that I am a big crier, but since when did I become emotionally attached to movie characters.
In other words, I think that I need to get a life. Sure, I work, exercise, and shop, but there has got to be a reason for all of this emotion. I am supposed to be volunteering somewhere too, but the lady never got back to me. It should not be this difficult to help others out.
Oh, and on Wednesday I went to the shore and got bit by like 100 black flies, or whatever those beach flies are called. The bites have swelled up and they itch like poison ivy. Just thought I'd share.
