Finally catching up with my life and the past 2 weeks events! I got an email on the morning of the 22 of April, telling me I was selected as one of this years finalist of the Blythe Beauty Contest!!! I couldn't belive it!!! Such a shock! I can't say I didn't expect it, because I hoped for it with all my heart, but to be honest I thought I wasn't going to get in.
Anywhoooo... past the moment of shock and excitement I had to sketch a plan to be able to raise the money to go to the finalist event and the exhibition aka a trip to Tokyo.
I separated all the dolls in my shelf that haven't got any attention (that is they haven't been photographed or played with in months or even a year!... and also one or 2 that were worth good money). I had to be heartless... I know I will miss them, but this is all for a worthy cause. This is also perhaps the last trip to Japan I'll be able to make in a while, because next year we want to have a baby :D
I have a ton of work to do, but I've wasted my whole week booking tickets, hotels, US visa appointments etc!
Also I finished on time this months Blythe Runway Challenge!!!! Alice in Wonderland's Clock Rabbit is my entry and you can check the auction on ebay by searchin Runway Challenge. It's for charity, for the Aids Houston Foundation.
CLICK! And, last but not least!!! I am almost done with my new custom doll for this month of May: Miss Moss. She is colorfull, bold and dramatic and I hope the public really likes her beacuse I do :) She will finance part of my trip too, so I will be praying she sell good.
Still need to finish some items from her wardrobe, but she is almost done! Yay!
Ok, enough blah blah.... bye!
