House...
Lately I have been very motivated to improve my house. I try (althought my actual economy status is not great) with a small budget and little details to bring some life into my home.
I rent, so there are changes I cannot make. But the owner is pretty cool so he is ok with painting and colors and minimal changes.
I made a list of things I want to do this year (in this order) :
-Paint the bathroom ceiling.
-Paint the kitchen.
-Paint the living room (this one is a challenge because it's quite big, but it's the first thing people see when they come home so I think it's important to make it look nice).
In that order. The bathroom is perhaps the one that is more urgent as the ceiling cracked and the painting is falling off. I can't hire a painter to do this so I will have to struggle and squeeze a "painting" weekend into my schedule.
Also, I am very motivated to make crafts to embellish my home. Things that don't imply money, but can bring a homey feeling.
-New Kitchen curtains.
-Cushions for the sofa
-Cushions for our bed
- pot holders and placemats (I want to give a try at patchwork and crocheting these).
I hope I can improve my home a little. I've been trying to be more tidy and also I am taking good care of the garden. I work from home so, a lovely environment makes all the difference. It is nice to see lovely details here and there, so I;m paying more attention to them.
