Drama
Trudi's parents and her nephew left yesterday, they are now at home in Cairns. I was glad to see them leave, i mean everyone got along okay this time, but its always nice to get your house back to yourself, and not have strangers hanging around. Also Trudi had her friend from Qld come down for a week or two, she left only a week b4 Truds folks arrived. So we haven't really had alot of time to settle into the place on our own so to speak. Trudi's nephew really reminded me how much i hate children, he is 9 and couldn't be more annoying if he tried! The new house is going well, the pool is now fixed and painted, we just need permission to fill it now! The phone line is working and with it the internet. We had to have the Telstra guy come over and fix the phone line, someone it turns out had cut the phone line on the roof? hmm wonder who!
There has been some major drama around the place of late, and of once i didn't cause it!
Backstory involved sorry. Friends of ours are Jessi and Dell, I worked with Jessi, and she met Trudi and they hit it off famously.. the rest is history. Anyhow last year we met their frend Mark better known as Zone (no idea why!). Trudi also has a friend named Chey - they've known each other for yrs. Chey is a nice person usually, just has a tendency to be a bit needy and whiney. Also bad with guys, she's screwed two of Trudi's friends and tried it on with others. After the last one she was told, no more! You don't screw the crew. Anyways.. we realised one day that we had invited Zone and Chey to the same party and that they'd never met, and everyone woulda bet our life savings that she was gonna try it on. We woulda won because u know it she fell for Zone, despite him claiming he wasn't into her that way. Anyway, Chey has been sneaking around seeing Zone, despite being well aware that this was contrary to what Trudi has asked of her. She's not spoken to Trudi about it at all. Now I've tried my best to stay out of this but it seems everyone in the social group is inevitably dragged into it. Now Zone's cut off everyone blah blah blah, Trudi is about to tell Chey she doesn't want anything to do with her anymore... blah blah blah... its exhausting yet so compelling...
Went out for Dell's b/day last night - we went to Mexicali Rose in Richmond, damn the food is good but expensive!! Then we went to Wrestlerock at the Corner hotel! Always a laugh - the band last night was Los Amigos, the most hilarious faux Mexican punk band, all of whom wear the same Luche Libre masks. I am pretty sure everyone had a really good time... I did, but damn I was ready to go home by the end!!! Getting too old for late nights!
