Thing are looking up
Well life is interesting. I spent the whole month out of sight. I still haven't found a job and honestly I doubt I'll find one that fits my lifestyle. It's hard telling a boss you need time off and that any job takes a back seat to school. I really don't tell them that but, it true. This week alone I revised three stage-managing jobs. Two pay and one doesn't. The head of board lands call and asked me I would stage-manage one of they up coming shows. This is a great opportunity to get known in town for being a stage manager. I had to say no, I would be to busy late august to give him and the show 100%. My friend Kenton ask if I would stage manage his up coming verity show. I told him yes, only because I free during the time he goes into production. Finally my director at school asked me to manage the schools Shakespeare play. I told her yes, I like working with her and she knows that I’m still learning the trade. So my question is do I really have the time to put in a 9-5 job?
