[The Dreamberry is out of focus at first until finally, a washing machine comes into view. This washing machine to be precise and Arthur sighs heavily. A day. He’s been living on his own for one day and he’s already broken this stupid technology crap even when the man in the shop assured him that even an idiot could work it. Anyway, the Dreamberry is turned so it’s facing him - he’s still figuring it all out but you know, he’s starting to get the hang of things. He’s shirtless too because this is Arthur Pendragon who hasn’t been up all that hugely long and shirts are for the weak.]
It would seem I am in need of assistance. This machine started doing this when I tried to use it today so if there are any men out there who can repair this then you will be compensated for your time - hopefully a couple of drinks at the tavern would serve as payment? Or I could offer something else such a tutelage in sword fighting or archery or whatever it is you have in mind.
And ladies, I need your help too even though it pains me to ask. Would any of you be willing to teach me to cook? I have this kitchen [which he helpfully shows and it’s remarkably clean so far apart from one spot near the stove that looks like the site of a small explosion] and it’s well stocked but I’m not sure how to actually do the cooking part. At all. And this isn’t home so there are no kitchens. Or Merlin. [Damn, he’s missing the useless idiot.] I had rather a mishap this morning with that stove and I’d rather not get into it too much but if you could teach me a few basic things I’d be very much obliged.
[You know, like roast chicken. Or sausages. And eggs. Simple things.]
Any who offer will find themselves rewarded with dinner - how better to show my appreciation for newfound knowledge - and a gift of some sort.
So thank you in advance, I’m off to find some towels to try to mop up some of this mess.
[He aims a big charming grin at the screen and then he sets the Dreamberry down on a counter so he can set off on his quest for towels.]
Oh and Ezio! [Arthur’s voice is a little further away this time.] I just wanted to say thank you again for taking me in while I got myself settled these last few days and for explaining things. Hopefully you got what I left for you!
