3 - Motivational Speeches
Geez, what is this? Motivational speech week? I can understand if you need a pep talk before going off to fight, but really? This is just overkill. It's like everyone and their mom has to get in their two cents. It's starting to get kind of annoying. Everyone's just saying the same things over and over again. If you're going to add anything, make sure it's original. Otherwise, don't bother saying it. But hey, whatever helps you sleep at night, I guess.
What am I doing? In these past few days, I've seen people practicing crazy powers and abilities. It's like something out of a fantasy or sci-fi novel. No doubt they'll be the ones fighting the enemy. But me? I can't even compare to powers like that. I'm just an average kid. What do they expect me to do? The closest I've even come to war is just watching it on the news.
I think one of the Hands mentioned evacuation? Yeah, that sounds right up my alley. No need to uselessly throw my life away just for the sake of fighting. Some of the people here are saying the school is like a second home for them, and that's the reason why they're fighting. But I've barely even been here, there's no way I could feel the same. So let them do all the fighting. I'd rather stay safe and alive than put my life on the line for people I barely know. It's not running away, it's playing to my advantages.
