I-I became affected by this island's personality curse...and Haruhi and I...well we discussed it already and we agreed to forget it but still!  
Not only that, but I started a basketball team too?What was I thinking!? I know I had no control over my actions but, what am I supposed to tell everyone on the team now?

About the reason why I quit. Well, I really wasn't myself at the time actually, so I'm not really the athletic I was pretending to be at the time. I-I just couldn't face the team and tell them that, but I thought I should let you know since I've practically left them in your hands...

That's what you were worried about? Don't sweat it. I completely understand since you were affected by the switch. It can do some really nasty stuff to us all.

I don't know if we have enough people to keep the team running, so we might merge with the soccer team, but I'd like to continue if we can. Oh, and I'll keep this between us if that's what you want.

I see, well I assume that there were some people on the team who had been affected as well, but I didn't know how many. If it does merge then I suppose that's alright, but I too would like to see it continue and I think you would do a great job at leading the team. Ah, I would truly appreciate it if you would.

I think Neku was affected, cause he's such a grumpyface otherwise. Don't worry too much - I'm sure I can get the other kids in on this. Basketball's one of the best sports out there! And it's great that you were able to start a team, even if you weren't thinking like your usual self at the time.

So am I in charge of practices and stuff? Or will you still set them for us?
