Last marching band competition ever, and I actually feel closure with it all. We got 5th out of 28 and beat Athens and South Oldham, whom we despise horribly. I kept the tradition going, that was a briskest run I've ever had. Surprisingly only a few tears were shed on my part, it was sad knowing II would never enter a football field with Conner again. Now I must look forward to Phantom tryouts Thanksgiving weekend, Mr. Houston (visual tech. who marched with the Cavaliers for a few years and was the lead soprano) and Mr. Daughters (marched Cadets for one year and is brutally honest) both said I have a chance and that I would definitely make a corps. like Glassmen or Bluecoats if I tried out for them, but everyone knows my heart resides with Phantom. I still doubt I'd be able to pay for it even if I finally made my mind up about leaving this summer or not. Marching with Phantom has been my dream for years but I don't know if I can stand to leave this all just yet. I suppose it all matters on if i even pass the first rounds of eliminations, I'll just do my best to keep my options open.
