Community Meeting for Two WSSC Projects
February 6, 2013

Project 1: Proposed Water Storage Sites in the Clinton Zone of Prince George’s County
Proposed sites for additional water storage and water transmission in Prince George’s
County. A brief presentation will address:
• How elevated storage ensures water supply reliability,
• The site selection process and proposed
sites, and
• The process and timeline for the project.

Project 2: Consent Decree Sewer Repair, Replacement and Rehabilitate (SR3) Program
WSSC is undertaking an extensive program to reduce sanitary sewer overflows by eliminating capacity restrictions in the WSSC sanitary system. A brief presentation will address:
• The project history, overview, and
current court ordered consent decree.
• Design decisions and how that effects
private property
• The project status and schedule
