Strange days
I had the oddest beverage today.
Funny how that should inspire me to come back to my oh so neglected LJ.
I have been trying to keep up here and there with some of the folks in my friends list so don't feel completely neglected by me.
Blah blah blah blah... Pretend that covers the last month of missed entries... Nothing too excited missed.
Bubble Tea.
What the hell is it. Strange brew for sure. At it's base it is surely tea. I got honey milk tea. Good combination, a little more sweet then I'd make at home but tasty no less.
Ok now for the weird part... Bubbles...
Apparently I'm behind the times because my friend said it was all the rage in CA and NY. Maybe Atlanta is a little slow, but my hometown is even slower so I'm thankful to be here.
So the Bubbles are somewhat the consistency of gummy bears but with a slimy surface and the bottom of the cup is full of them. They really don't have too much flavor. They give you a big straw to drink it through so you get full bubbles coming up the straw. I have never sucked dick but I couldn't help having the feeling that every time a clump of chunky goo would come out of my straw that it must be a similar feeling.
My friend said it felt like a big black booger in her mouth.
The cup was super cool, they put it into a sealing machine and it put a cellophane lid on the cup with a little squirrel and lots of kanji on it.
