The character "Kenneth" is now dead, actually. Started him November of 2009, and finally someone murdered him, just as he predicted in his last journal entry http://primroseport.livejournal.com/82468.html . And I've taken a break from that particular story group. It's fun but I'm tired of cut-throat politics with creatures who have no feelings. Months of portraying sociopathy and heartlessness begins to kill the soul.
Doing a couple of other collab stories, one of which I began in May with someone and between the two of us we have about 12-15 characters that we swap in and out of (two main characters, a handful of supporting cast, and a bunch of minor ones or unseen villains moving in the background. It's a nice change to build a story without competition, no player versus player, no storyteller on the sidelines, just passing the storyteller role back and forth and making things up as we go along.
