We never got anywhere with our City chronicle, did we?

Maybe that should be a resolution, too.

Not much, no, but I suppose this is as good a time as any to start! Out with the old and in with the new; it's the perfect time to embark on a new project, I think.

I completely agree.

Goodness, I can hardly believe it's come on so fast. Where did all the time go?

Honestly? I have no idea. I feel like the year just started.

And I'm sure it doesn't help much that the snow seems to be melting outside, which makes it feel as though summer's coming early. But I think it's just our usual thaw out, the same as we get every winter; it's about the right time for it, as I recall.

City weather is reliable, in its own, odd way. This, and midsummer snow.

Oh, yes, the snow in the summer! I'll never forget that one year when it struck on Midsummer proper, and we were all running around like mad the night before trying to fix the costumes so it didn't ruin the play the next day.

I liked it, in the end. It was-- it seemed fitting. Even if it was chilly.

It worked out well, I think. Then we all had a bit of magic for it, and it brought us all closer together, too.

That's true.

I suppose that's where I should start. Writing, I mean.

That was one of the first things you did once you were here, wasn't it? Managing the play for Blair? I remember that's how we met, even, because I knew the lines already and you had roles you needed to fill.

It was. The day after I arrived, I think, or not much later than it. You knew a lot of it, and of course we had Robin, then-- and so many people ended up getting involved...

They did, because you persuaded half of them into it all by yourself!

Good to keep that in mind, since I'll have to do it again soon.

For Todd's play, you mean?
