They do, it seems! And one for mothers, too, but that was last month, as I recall.

What if you don't have a mother.

...Then it's not a day one would celebrate, I suppose.

I suppose the same would go if you didn't have a father, right?

I would think so, yes. Still...I would think that even if one didn't, one could still find someone to be thankful for. I don't think it's so much the relation as it is what they mean to you, really.

It seems like a strange holiday.

Is it always so hot here?

[primrosella]

There are some strange ones, yes. But I think some of them are rather nice, too.

...Hot? Well, it is the summer, yes. But it'll be chillier again in a few months, of course, so no, it's not always so hot.

No, it's just about the middle, actually.

...Well, er, a month or two? It's June now, the middle of June.

What makes you say that? It's just an ordinary season.

Seasons last for years.

[primrosella]

...For years? But then they're hardly seasons at all! That's one of the easiest ways of marking off a year, one cycle of four seasons.
