[ooc: He'll hurry down to her compartment as quick as he can if need be.]

[It takes her a second to locate where the sound is coming from--her gaze goes first to the window, then the door, then finally to the device near her on the seat.]

Cain?

[OOC: He is welcome to visit! Justin may also be around, depending on how Veda decides to have him pop in.]

Are you all right? I'll be there in a moment, if you'd like.

I thought I saw something...outside, have you looked out the windows? Where are you?

[misterblackbird]

I've been looking out the windows, yes.

Which carriage are you in? I'm in another part of the train.

[primrosella]

Then you've seen it, too.

Um...I think it's number three? That's the number on my ticket, anyway.

[misterblackbird]

I have.

I'm in the fourth carriage, by my count. It wouldn't take me long at all to reach yours.

[primrosella]

How many are there? I woke up here this morning, but I haven't gotten around to look at everything yet, since I got a bit caught up in the windows.

[misterblackbird]

Twelve, I think, or thirteen. I haven't been through all of them, but I've walked through quite a few. I got on the train this morning to go somewhere else entirely, and now they won't let me off again.

The windows are more than a little distracting.

[primrosella]

You were one of the ones that got on yourself?

[Can one hear a shiver? There's certainly a hint of it in her tone.]

There's not much else to look at, besides.

[misterblackbird]

I did, unfortunately.

No, there isn't, but I've been doing my best to look at the other people in the compartment instead of looking out the window.

[primrosella]

That really would be for the best; I'll have to try that. I wish they might've at least brought me here with a book or--anything. Do hurry, won't you?

I'll be there momentarily.

[And, hold on a moment, and there will be a knock on the compartment door.]

[The sound of the knock makes her jump, but at least this time it's one she's remotely expecting. So she gets to her feet in a hurry and pulls it open a crack, peering out before sliding it open the rest of the way.]

Goodness, am I ever glad to see you.

[He slips his way into the compartment...]

[And she pushes the door shut behind him.]

Just scared, really. Between the noise and the things outside, it's...well. It hasn't been a very pleasant morning.
