Growth. That's the word they've given us this week, and it seems it's to be the final one, as well. That makes four weeks of words, four weeks of essays--Equivalence, Pain, Future, and now Growth. It's strange how they all seem to fit together, isn't it? And how they all seem to fit together in this place, as well. Equivalence, for the trades they ( Read more... )

I don't think there are many bad reasons to celebrate.

[ooc; I was going to have Neil make mention of it tomorrow <3 so if she wants to hint at / encourage chars or anything feel free, but no worries <3]

It might be silly, though, if they're not around to enjoy it.

[OOC: Okay, cool! I'll watch for that, then. <333]

But you'll enjoy it. And anyone you invite. That counts for something.

[ooc; ngl, i just wanted to push it back and get a jump on july activity xD]

Well, yes, there is that. Though I suppose I might be a bit sad, too, depending on who it was for. And how long they'd been gone.

[OOC: Pfffffft, like it's gonna be hard, between 4th Wall and all the rest of that awesome. But I see what you did there, devious. ♥]

Well, at least if you threw a party you wouldn't be sad by yourself.

I'd try very hard not to be, though. A party really isn't any fun if it's sad, of course, and the point would be to celebrate, wouldn't it? So I suppose I'd just try as hard as I could to be cheerful, really.

Well, you shouldn't have to force it. Wouldn't a party cheer you up on its own?

Maybe.

Oh, yes, of course it would.

If you think it wouldn't, you shouldn't have one. If you think it would, then do it. That's my take, anyway.

Well, perhaps I'll just bake a cake for it. Even if there isn't a great big party for it, it'd still be something...and then there'd be the fun of eating the cake, too.

That seems like a good compromise.

I think I will, then. But it's not for another two weeks or so yet, so I've a little time to think it over, in any case.

All right. If you do decide to do something bigger and you need a hand, let me know? Or even if you just want some company.

I'll remember that, of course.

Oh, but speaking of needing a hand, how did your spaghetti dinner turn out the other day?

Uh, not so bad. The pasta was a little mushy and the meatballs got kinda dry but it was still pretty good. And we know what not to do, if we ever try again.

Well, I suppose that's just part of your growth as cooks, then, isn't it?
