[Voice Post]
[The audio begins with a click and a clatter, the sound of a beak tapping against plastic as someone rather ineptly attempts to turn the communicator on. A moment later, a smooth, rumbling voice speaks--one that is clearly masculine, and clearly not Rosella.]
Really, I don't know why they insist on making these things so difficult for those of us with claws. A perfectly simple endeavor like playing on the Network becomes such a tedious chore when I have to keep biting at these switches and things to move them.
Perhaps that's just a sign that you shouldn't be playing on the Network at all, Almeisan.
You might've turned it on for me, you know, and that would've saved us both all the trouble. And it is my turn. You had it all morning.
Just don't go around making mischief, or I'll come ruffle your ears again.
Hmph.
[There is a sudden rustling, shuffling sound near the microphone, rather like a bird noisily rearranging its wings. Except in this case, it happens to be a griffin noisily rearranging its wings in what can only be described as an indignant manner.]
Well. As I was saying. It seems I'm back again for the whole weekend, which is a pleasant change. Much better than spending it cursed some other way, even if it were one of the nicer curses like being changed into a bird. That one does seem to come up quite frequently for us, but I suppose it's only natural. I was very nearly a bird myself, of course. But this suits us both much better, I think, even if it does come with certain exasperating complications involving my ears. Which are not in any way ridiculous, I might add, no matter what Rosella might say.
Hmmm.
It seems I'm not the only one out and about, either. As fun as it is to play at guessing what shape a person's soul might take, and why it might turn out that way, it's much more fun to make their acquaintance firsthand. Or, at least, as firsthand as this Network will allow. It'd be much more entertaining to meet them in person, of course, but it isn't always the best of ideas to go out and about on weekends like this, and it seems Rosella would rather stay in her room today, anyway.
We'll go out later, Almeisan. I promise. I'd just...like a bit of time to myself right now.
Mmm, I understand. Very well. I'm content to just play here for now.
[And he makes a noise that is almost a comforting purr. Then, with another few clicks and clatters, the audio ends.]
[OOC: Daemon Day! Rosella's daemon Almeisan is back to visit for the weekend. He and Rosella will be sharing the Network device, so either one will be available to talk; all responses will be voice, and Almeisan's will be in italics.]
