I'm just in a bad mood, I think. But I imagine it's rather difficult not to be, after everything that's happened.

Do you want a cracker? Would that cheer you up?

...Do you plan to request that I sit on your shoulder and repeat the last few words of everything you say, as well?

That would be silly.

It would, very much so. Almost as silly as the fact that I'm truly considering taking you up on that offer of a cracker.

I don't even know if birds really do eat crackers.

You've never seen one do so? Really?

Well, no, only in the movies.

Well, I can't imagine a pirate feeding his parrot anything else, really, so I suppose it must be so.

I'll get you some crackers then.

Thank you, I'd like that very much. I'm sure I'll be quite hungry when I get back from flying up the mountain.

Well, perhaps not, but I want to go up to see the top, if I can, before I lose my wings.

There is no way that can be safe. Can parrots even fly that high?

[primrosella]

Even if I can't, I'll still have a better view than if I tried it on foot. And it'll be safer than trying to climb it, too.
