I think that the zoo has eagles.

Do they? That's good. I'll have to go see them soon, then.

Why?

Er. Because where eagles are, there are also usually eagle feathers?

Strange how that works, isn't it? Though I can't say I'm all that used to this particular habit of the City yet - it hasn't occurred so very often during the time I've been here.

You've been ill?

(OOC: IT'S BEEN WAY TOO LONG.)

It's a troublesome habit, yes, but it does stop being surprising after a while.

No, not ill, exactly. Just...sad.

[OOC: OMG YES IT HAS WHY HELLO THERE.]

Well, I guess that's something. Think positive, and that.

... oh. But... you spoke of the hospital...

(OOC: HAY THAR \o/)

Sometimes thinking positive is all we can do, really. And hoping for the best, as well.

Oh! Yes, that. It seems it's possible to help hurt people heal faster by taking blood out of a healthy person and putting it into a hurt one, and I wanted to help, so I went to the hospital to let them take some out of me. It didn't take very long at all, and I'm just fine now.

It is strange to think of this as 'getting back to normal'. I suppose it is, though, by comparison.

It all depends on how one defines the word "normal", really. Though it'd be odd to think of someone coming to the City from a world exactly like the City, and thinking the whole place perfectly normal right from the start. I wonder if there are places like that, or if this one is unique that way?

I should hate to imagine such a place. But I can't think it would be perfectly identical. Would the same 'deities' be there as well as here, though, I wonder?

I doubt anything is ever perfectly identical, but some things are the same all over, so I suppose it's entirely possible that the deities could be, too. Perhaps that land is where that mother and her son live, when they're not here. I suppose that could be, just the same.

Are you sure your blood isn't too magical for them?

Reply

primrosella September 20 2009, 00:39:41 UTC
Well, er...come to think of it, I don't know, actually. I suppose that's up to Dr. Chase and the others, really...

Tell them to label yours by name.

primrosella September 20 2009, 00:44:06 UTC
That might be best, yes. But I hope that doesn't mean they can't use it to help someone, after all.

There's a zoo here?

audio primrosella September 20 2009, 03:44:55 UTC
There is, yes. And I know they have unicorns there, but I've never gone to look and see if they keep eagles as well.

Unicorns? Real live unicorns? With- With the pointed horn and everything?

This place is amazing.

Mmhmm, real live unicorns, with the horn and everything. Do they not have them in your world? We do in mine, but they're quite rare, even so.
