My mother has DirectTV and it has seventy million grillion music channels and one is this very cool thing called The Village which has all sorts of wonderful folkie stuff and just when I think they can't top themselves OMG THEY'RE PLAYING STAN ROGERS.

Life is good ATM.

me too! I listed to "The Village" all the time. There is also a channel called "XM Cafe" that is pretty sweet. And the bluegrass and old timey country channels are wonderful. Hope mama is ok!

I want to get satellite radio for my car/house. I'm trying to decide which to get, XM or Sirius (the companies have merged, but I'd think that they would still keep the two separate). XM has the baseball package, but Sirius has more international news. I figure I'll probably get Sirius, since I can listen to local baseball on broadcast radio.
