[. . . It had been entirely too long since he'd seen his Rain Guardian - and this worried Giotto far more than what he allowed to show. Inside, he was practically frantic with worry as he searched over the island. There were likely only a very, very limited number of people who would have noticed this worry, though. He had grown to be quite adept to masking his emotions - a necessary trait for someone in his position. At this point, masking his worries and fears was like second nature to him.
But Ryu had been missing, and had spoken nothing of leaving to Giotto. . . And it seemed so very unlike his Rain Guardian to leave him to worry like this. . . So he feared something may have happened.
Not to mention. . . With this island, there was really no telling.]
