feeling better today
after an absolutely black weekend (I wrote a very long post on saturday and immediately deleted it, as soon as i put it out there I had to suck it back, but the short of it is that my immediate family has been completely betrayed by the rest of our surviving family over money, and it's the most disgusting feeling...)
anyway, there appears to be a light in the distance. spring has arrived and we're getting better at bouncing back from these cold moments.
several things cheered me up this weekend, including:
an awesome bunka doll and outfit from Christina. I love it so much. As soon as it arrived, i thought "this is going on Dash!
you have no idea how much amusement I got out of putting Dash in a bonnet and a bow.
"Can you take this bonnet off of me?"
"and the Bow??!!"
I told her she could keep the dolly for her suffering, and she seemed to smile...

other dolly news, my prima dollies came and i LOVE them to pieces. I might not keep aubrey, but saffy is my new mascot, she's such a glamorous little thing. i gave ebony a midnight makeover, which always result in something great or something horrid. I usualy wake up and go "sheesh, i must not have had good light." I actually forgot to peek at her before I left for my errands this morning. my airbrush jammed and i splattered silver paint all over her mouth, that was fun. updates and pics soon.
thank you too to those that caught my fatness rant. I am making a big effort to eat sensibly and get out and move more.
this was the first weekend this year that I did not see Paul and I nearly went crazy. time for plate tectonics to suck up san clemente and huntington beach and escondido and all those other useless cities between LA and San Diego...
* also must note that a few weeks ago, I broke down and had paul give dash proper makeup. she's never had green eyeshadow before and it took me some getting used to, but I am so happy that she's been fully restored now. it only took two years!
