tonight there were really intense protests all over the streets. I was just minding my business coming home from class with a little Claude VonStroke on and at first I thought it was my music and realized that I knew the song and it wasn´t coming from there, then I looked up and saw everyone hanging out of their windows clapping together pots and pans (cacerolazos) in support of the "people." The president doubled the taxes on simple agriculture products because they are in high demand and doing well in exports but the money isn´t going, as she claims, to support the other areas of the agriculture industry, instead it is getting pocketed by the government. Assholes are everywhere.
