So here's the work in progress scene of the first chapter. It'll be a lot better in the final version of the chapter, bu hopefully this'll give you a look into what will be going on in the chapter.
Enjoy!~
"Al?" He heard Ed's voice, but didn't acknowledge it. After his outburst at dinner, Al had stormed back to the Brother's shared hotel room by himself, partially ashamed of himself for yelling like that and partially just so furious with his brother.
The younger Elric sat on his bed, facing away from Ed and staring out the window. It wasn't like him to be like this, but he was so worried about his brother...
"Hey, Al..." Ed placed an automail hand on his shoulder, and Al couldn't find the strength to push him away. "What's wrong?"
"What's wrong with you?" Al asked his brother, looking back at him. Ed looked confused.
"What?"
Al took a deep breath, looking his brother straight in the eye.
"You've been upset ever since you came home." Underneath that mask, he could see Ed flinch. He'd struck a cord. "Why won't you tell me what's wrong?"
"Al, what the hell are you talking about?" Ed asked, sounding defensive. And a bit scared.
"Please Brother..." Al begged, sitting on his knees and looking the elder Elric straight in the eye. "Please tell me what's wrong?"
"There's nothing wrong, Al." Ed told him, rather firmly and his eyes emotionless, and then suddenly turned away, heading for his own bed. "Get some sleep. We're heading back home tomorrow."
Al wanted to protest further, but all Ed did was plop down on his bed and feign sleep.
He stared at him for a few more minutes, before sighing and turning over onto his side, a new sense of determination burning in him.
Come hell or high water, he would find out what was wrong with Ed.

Yeah, Kinda crappy, but this is how most of my writing looks before I got back and savagely edit it. Don't know when this chapter will be posted, but it will have lotsa angst. Thanks for reading!
