Primeval fanfic: "You Give Love a Bandaid"

NB: The title is from a misheard lyric. Bon Jovi sang "you give love a bad name" but being old New Jersey boys, they slurred a little. My Brit-picker tells me I’ll need to explain this term to readers from the UK. It’s a brand name for a type of plaster. In the US we kind of use it as a generic word for any small bandage.
I'm sure this story will become obsolete sometime between next week and the week after. I don't care.
