Connor Cosplay
Its that time of year again....convention time! My daughter and I usually dress up. Last year my daughter went as Abe Sapien. Weeks of making the costume and a few hundred dollars later, it was great. This year, much to my joy both for my pocketbook and my patience, she decided to cosplay as Connor. Easy costume.
We already had jeans, a shirt, and the vest. Along with a necklace and ring. We bought the hat, bandanna, boots, and handkerchief. She is due for another haircut soon, so it will be a bit shorter and I'll slick it back like he had in first season. I am also going to get her a backpack or messenger bag like he carries. I'm letting her use my old, but still working, Blackberry, she'll bring a dinosaur and monster book, we'll buy an old weekly world news (seems like something Conner would read), pack her Netbook, and I am making a handheld anomaly detector out of an old, but still working, GPS. The dinosaurs with her are robotic Pleos, very realistic, Rex reminds me of them a lot. We may take one of those with us. She will be Connerfied!
The pics were taken last night after we finished buying all the main components. We are working on poses, mannerisms, and maybe even the accent.
