Tonight will be a twofer since I missed
last night. (AGAIN. Damn me not posting for so long and then forgetting
that I have to do it regularly.) Fortunately, these two happen to go
hand-in-hand and therefore fit well together in the same post. Anyway, I
hope me forgetting a few hasn't put people off the rest of the series,
which is admittedly really pretty cute.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Title: Under the Upper Hand
Rating: T for child abuse, substance abuse, and bad words
Characters: Connor, OC (Naomi)
Warnings: child abuse, mentions of drugs, swearing, and overly-excessive use of a childhood-friend-OC-trope
Notes:
Title comes from 'Class-A Team' by Ed Sheeran; for these two parts, I
did the best I could looking up and researching stuff on Judaism to make
it as accurate as possible but I am likely off on some details. If any
of it is really terrible, please tell me.
Summary: Boy
meets girl. Girl protects boy from the whole world. Boy learns that the
world is sometimes a sad and dangerous place. At times silly, sweet,
sad, and hopefully enlightening as it explores the formative years of
Connor Temple and Naomi Einhorn and the bond they shared throughout.
