Warnings: dark!fic, language, some gory stuff described in a roundabout way, disappointing and likely hallucinatory sex. Also, this is my first Primeval fic. Also, no beta.
Spoilers: very mild ones for the beginning of season 4
Summary: Written for a dark_fest thingy for the prompt: "Any fandom, any characters, none of this is real. A character comes to believe that their life and experiences are just a hallucination and they are actually in a hospital for their 'delusions' (a la Buffy's 'Normal Again', and others) Author's choice which version of reality is the 'true' one. Bonus points if the fandom is historical/futuristic/has supernatural elements/some other 'out of the ordinary' set up."
