two ficlets
Bug + music = writing too much. I should be working on 'Alice Ever After', but I got two plotbunnies that demanded to be nurtured. I hope they're interesting. Both are based on songs, neither of which I own.
Title: Salva Nos
Rating: strong PG for me being a bit hard on religion
Characters: Danny Quinn
Genres: Angst
Summary: Danny Quinn's 'classical education' comes from an unlikely background--because Danny Quinn once wanted to become a priest.
Notes: This fic is based on a song called 'Salva Nos' by a group called The Medieval Baebes. The title is Latin for 'save us', which is (I believe) a common prayer in Catholicism.

Rating: PG-13 for a depiction of a highly dysfunctional relationship
Characters: Abby and Connor
Genres: Major angst and a little dysfunctional romance
Summary: Abby loves him, but has no idea how to express it. So she does the opposite, and does what she can to push him away.
Notes: And THIS ONE is based on 'Please Don't Leave Me' by Pink. It sounded a little like a (perhaps exaggerated) interpretation of the dysfunctional nature of Connor and Abby's relationship.
( I always say how I don't need you but it's always gonna come right back to this... )
