A set of Nick/Stephen drabbles, originally for the primeval100 community. ^^
Title: First Cut is the Deepest
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG (mild language)
Characters/Pairing: Nick/Stephen
Warnings: None, really. Slash, I guess, in case you're squicked by it...oh and a dungload of angst.
Spoilers: End of S2...? I guess...I'm almost finished the season. :P (Also, I haven't seen S3 yet. So please don't reverse spoil, either! D:)
Authors Notes: I finally figured out what these two are doing in my other fic...just in time to see the S2 drama happening. Trying to reconcile things in my head. :P Also, I KNOW there are some anachronisms here in terms of when things happened. Just...pretend they're not there. Kay? :D

He wants nothing more than to go to him and say, "I'm sorry," but his pride won't let him. He won't, he can't, admit that he was wrong.
Her taste still lingers on his lips; he looks at Nick and all he tastes is betrayal.
There's blood on the floor, spilt recently, fresh, and he can't help but feel it matches the wounds in Nick's eyes. The wounds he's made.
His every word is like a double-edged blade, and he feels its bite as keenly as his lover--ex-lover? The thought makes him cold--must.
Damn that woman.
...No.
Damn his pride.

He absolutely doesn't want to admit it, but he has no idea what he's doing. He's lying next to Stephen--their naked bodies touching--and his hand wrapped around a piece of anatomy all too familiar to him after these eight years. But different. Alien.
Not his own.
He looks into Stephen's face, his expression uncharacteristically confused, lost. He has to gather up the courage to admit to his failing; he doesn't want to disappoint the man any further than he has already.
"I don't know what I'm doing."
Stephen takes his hand, guides him; gasps at the friction.
"I'll show you."

Title: Lioness
Word Count: 100
Rating: R/NC-17
Characters/Pairing: Abby/Helen
Warnings: Femslash, fairly graphic.
Spoilers: None. (Also, I haven't seen the second half of S2 or S3 yet. So please don't reverse spoil, either! D:
Authors Notes: I can't be blamed for this one. After ranting on constantly about Primeval fic, my boyfriend challenged me to write a Helen/Abby one. So I did. ...I don't do a lot of femslash, so I apologize in advance for how horrid this is, lol.

The lions always send a chill of arousal through her. So beautiful, and perfect---
"Hello, Abby."
A low purr--maybe a growl--Helen's voice. Warning. Dangerous.
Undeniable.
"Helen...no..." Rough, owning lips cover hers, calloused hands touching her everywhere. A bruising kiss. The brush of fingers where she needs them most.
Helen knows she loves the feeling of being hunted.
"Please..." The woman pounces, tearing into her prey with those perfect claws--rough, ruthless, and Abby relishes it.
The pride looks back at her as she pants, pressed against the cold glass.
She cries out in ecstasy as she's devoured.
--because its the lionesses who are the best hunters.

He was a good man; a good student and aide--an even better friend.
He learned well; he knew his stuff. Strong, too, and carefree and so very kind. It warmed his heart to look upon him.
Everyone commented on how well he turned out--what a great mentor he had. How great he would be, someday.
He nodded, and agreed, and smiled, and his look of almost fatherly pride moved those who saw. And he was proud of Stephen, immensely so--but it was so much more than pride in his eyes.
And he was too proud to ever admit it.
