Title: Lester’s reaction.
dedicated to: those in the recent Primeval_Denial discussion who requested a Lester-centric fic.
Author’s note: first, I started plotting this out in my head during the Men’s Gymnastics (USA), but then Lester advised me that it would work better as a drabble. And as Claudia Brown learned to her cost, one does not ignore a hatchet man.

Summary: during the clean-up process after a case that had hit very close to Lester’s heart.

James Lester wasn’t about to let the Creatures go without a fight, but nor was he about to let his daughter - Harriet ‘H’ Lester - out of his sight.
His daughter had been returned…or left behind. The Creatures were gone, having brushed H out of and taken her wheelchair.
Intelligent or animal, the matter was academic to the Lesters.
H was in hysterics *still,* incensed at the ‘angels’ who had abducted Harold Hrothgar, her best friend, her wheelchair. Even Mrs. Cutter had proven more tactful with H than Mr. Cutter, who had said they weren’t angels, they were a species of Oviraptor. James knew the garden ornaments were in trouble when they got home.
Not caring about copyright infringement, Lester shouted at the Anomaly, “KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANN!”

The End.
Ps: yes, there really is a genus of Oviraptor with that name. :)
