Reminder about requesting new tags
Can I remind people of this post, about requesting new tags, please?
Basically, there are some tags that exist that can be used to request new tags (author: need new tag, pairing: need new tag etc - I've put them on this post too, so you can see them). Why use them instead of just putting a note in your post? Because if you use one of those tags, then I get an e-mail landing in my inbox, linking me to your post and letting me know you need me to create a tag :) And I'm far more likely to therefore realise it needs doing and actually do it!
If you just annotate your post, it's very easy for me to skim past that bit, especially if you've posted to a number of communities and primeval_canon was one the earlier ones - if I've seen the post already, I'm less likely to read it carefully and spot your notes. And sometimes I'm at skip 200 and I've reached the point of information saturation, and I'm not taking in anything ::g::
So it's to your benefit to use these tags - that's what they're there for, to make sure that nothing gets overlooked.
