Fic recs

One of the things we've talked about before is doing a fic rec post, maybe mid-week, just to get you through those last few days before the weekend! So I'm looking for volunteers to take a turn in sharing their favourite stories, maybe one a week. As with the pic!spam sign ups, it will be first come, first served

If the worst comes to the worst, I can do the first few until people are comfortable/have time/inclination to do it ::g:: I just don't want it to be me telling everyone what my favourite stories are. I want fic I haven't read yet, darn it ::g::

I've sort of already recced everything in my memories that would be suitable already at recent rec posts in denial and I'd feel a little uncomfortable reccing them again quite so soon, especially since there is a fair bit of overlap between the comms.

All, that is, except for the femslash, as it happens. So if you want a femslash rec I can do that though I'm not sure its the best theme to kick off with....

I'm perfectly happy to have femslash recc'd :) If you don't want to go first, I can rec some of the stuff I'd picked out for crack_van, but from my point of view, I'm perfectly happy to have femslash as the first rec.

I'd probably prefer it if you went first - I don't want to be responsible for setting up the template format, if nothing else :-)

I have a couple I'd like to rec, so probably best to do each one on a different week, so if you want to let someone else have a go in between and I'll do a second rec a few weeks later after the first, maybe?

One's het, the other's largely gen with hints of het. If there's a free rec slot before the end of Jan, one focusses on a couple of the female characters so might be a good rec for the Fabulous Females month.

Oh, there's slots ::g:: We're not exactly overrun with volunteers yet (I live in eternal hope!), so at the moment it's largely me doing the reccing, which is going to get very boring after a while, I suspect.

How does next Wed suit you?
