This gave me a good excuse to finish the bunny that's been gnawing at my brain since Philip put his hand on Connor's shoulder and told him to get in the car at the end of series 4. I didn't want it to be overly porny though. So I hope this works for your prompt.
Author's Note 2: So sorry for the huge delay with this last chapter. I had hammered out the last of the plot a couple weekends ago with Evenstar, then I got really sick that Saturday. After that, my muse ran away completely along with almost any desire to write while I *slowly* recuperated. Now I'm back and hopefully that stomach bug will stay away for good. Now, without further ado, I give you the final chapter of Misplaced Trust. Enjoy.

After all the horrible things that I did to Connor in this and due to the sensitive and serious subject matter involved, I really felt the need to write more of his recovery. There may or may not be smut involved, I haven't decided yet. Either way, it'll be tasteful and tender, continuing in the same tone as this last chapter.
