I'm a sucker for backstory fics, and I love fififolle's premise that Claudia and Ryan have met before. In her author's notes, she says Ryan and Claudia's first scene seemed to betray a great deal of respect, as if they had at least worked together before. I'd like to think it was a little more than that and I am totally on board with that idea ::g::
Plus, it's Claudia, and I do miss her sometimes. I love fififolle's take on what she may have been like when she was younger - and what Ryan may have been like as well - and the way she takes them through to the start of the series.
