*Prowl sighs inwardly, wondering how he managed to turn from the XO to the Exposition Officer* As near as I've been able to tell from my contacts within the Decepticons, there has been a complete and total power vacuum in the high command. Basically, Megatron seems to have abdicated his position, Starscream has cut off his ambitions, and Shockwave appears to be solidifying his power base. That leaves us with enigmas and psychopaths.

As for what is meant by it...... I just don't know. Frankly, I've got problems of my own to deal with. If you'll excuse me Prime, I have a defense to organize. The Aerialbots have yet to report back from their scouting mission, and it looks like I'll need to fill in as Security Director until Red is back on his feet.

*Not waiting to be dismissed, Prowl stalks out the door. He knew that Optimus meant well, but the whole meeting was beginning to feel like an inquisition, and he needed to calm himself before he lead the troops out*

[SComm: Jazz, Blaster] Gentlemechs, I have reason to believe that a sizable Decepticon force is on it's way here. Jazz, I want you to deploy half the healthy Autobots on close support of the base. Blaster, I need the defense grid put on standby. I'm afraid you'll have to coordinate operations from here. I'll be assuming command of our remaining troops in a forward position, try to turn the Decepticons away before they get within striking distance. [/comm]

*Chromia nods, taking her time processing all of it, even though it didn't really seem to relate to the situation on Cybertron. Then she blinks as Prowl leaves. She glances at Optimus.* Ranks around here seem to be having issues, as well. What in the world have you boys been up to? Don't answer that if it's too absurd. I don't expect much. ...Although if it poses a threat to us as well, it might be worth hearing.

We've been dealing with a problem concerning a rogue Decepticon, possessing our forces and causing any matter of trouble. We've taken a lot of damage each time. We've finally got it contained. Though I'd like to find out exactly what Pyre is up to, I don't want to risk putting him into another Autobot to interogate him. That's been the major issue we've dealt with. And the confusion among the Decepticons isn't helping matters.

And what of you? How are things proceeding on the Cybertron front? *Clearly, there's another question on Prime's mind, though the soldier part of him refuses to ask it first...
