Melissa and I set of on an epic quest for winter fun this morning. On the agenda: sledding. We got all suited up, I cleaned off the cars, and we headed over to poor farms. (for those not from the Greater Taunton area, its these hilly areas in Raynham between the sports fields and the dump)
Its a great sledding spot, but there was nowhere to park. There was a little un-plowed area which I thought might be okay if I stayed in the tire tracks of the bigger trucks parked there, but I almost got stuck.
We ended up going over to Watson Pond, where I used to work over on Bay St. There we found that the usual sledding hill is covered with small trees. Which I think I knew, but had forgotten. He found a good spot behind the park building and got some good runs in. All in all, it was great wet cold fun!
