NYC...ready or not here I come...
Oh gawd, I'm SO tired. I had forgotten what it was like to have to actually work. To meet a deadline. To those of you that know me but don't really know me, I have little (as Karm would say) kid-thingys running about. I was taking a break, so to speak, and not working. I have an annual summer design project that never fails to kick my butt though, and I always seem to forget the stress. (Well, I guess I forget how bad it was once I get paid, heh)
Add to that the renovations to the house. AND my trip tomorrow to NYC. So that means I had to sacrifice a day to actually clean because my parents are coming to keep the chilluns. But how bad can it be when I'm going to NYC tomorrow? AND The X-Files premieres tomorrow night!! Ah, my shippy heart flutters for those two. Before Robin and Marian, there was Mulder and Scully.... I've heard the movie sucks but who cares?! There's kissing!!
But I saved the best for last... I won a fic award!! Me! (toots own horn loudly) Thanks to everyone that voted over at
saythewordsthen. I would love a banner but that would mean I'd have to figure out how to put it up on my page. My new header picture had already taken a couple of years off my life. But seriously, I'm pumped. It's the first fic award I've ever won, evah.
