¿Diabetes? ¡Bean Cup!
1. This morning I dreamt up another music video. This time I made a song that seemed to borrow a lot from The English Beat's "Stand Down Margaret", except that the lyrics were a nursery rhyme about a hermit crab and it was poking fun at Ron Paul's isolationist/xenophobic policies. The video itself was seemingly shot on a muddier version of St. George Island and it featured Bernadette (a really adorable girl in PR) and I trying to coax a hermit crab out of its shell and subsequently playing with it.
2. It was too hot for me to sleep on Wednesday morning, so I only managed about three hours' worth of drowse. Luckily, I made up for yesterday. After tabling in the Union and getting my hair cut, I ventured home, crashed around 6:30 or 7 PM, woke up at 1:30 AM, returned to bed at 3:30 and fell asleep again by 4, finally waking up seven hours afterward, sparing just enough time to have lunch and shower before DJing this afternoon.
3. This weekend will be busy. I'm going to the Greek Food Festival for dinner, on Saturday I'm seeing Jesu play, on Sunday I THINK there's a DJ meeting (blessthearrows, am I right?), and on Monday I'm tabling the Caribou concert. This next few days should be really pleasant, particularly since it's not so hot. It's supposed to be 49 degrees (10 Celsius) this morning! And 78 (24 C) for the high! Beautiful, and it's expected to stay like this over the next few days. It's about time! And now I'm off to tinker with Garageband. Good night!
