Very very fascinating. I am uncertain about how E-Prime looks, though when I write I endeavor to make things either first person or gender free .. eg; one may experience this, or I experience this.

Do you write in E-Prime?

And, I am uncertain I understand the connection you see between 'I Am' & 'E-Prime', would you elaborate?

Currently not utilizing e-prime in communications - would be a cool experiment.

I Am = to be

also from the article:

The forms of 'to be' that E-Prime excludes includes the words: "is," "are," "were," "was," "am," "be," "been," and their contractions.

Note in the addendum to the article the bible quote of 'I AM That I AM' cannot be effectively filtered out.. (grin)
